Tamsin Draycott

Tamsin Draycott is forty-four and spent eleven years cataloguing estate jewellery for a provincial auction house before she wrote anything. She still cannot walk past a vitrine, and the job taught her that people reveal themselves most in what they cannot bear to part with. She is warm, funny in person and immoderate about perfume. She writes contemporary dragon-shifter romance for readers who want to be wanted greedily, by a man whose hoard is very old and whose attention is entirely on her. She thinks most romance is too polite about appetite, and she is bored of heroines who apologise for liking beautiful things. In her books a woman is allowed to enjoy being given things.
