The Long Valleys
Three kinds. One woman. Every one of them holding back, until she tells them not to.
In the Long Valleys, humans are one kind among many, and the different kinds mostly keep to their own valleys: the tall Seln in their great households, the kiln-kind in the furnace country, the fell-kind up on the high fells where no humans live at all. Where the roads meet there are toll houses, salt works, ferries, winter markets and bathhouses, and all of them run on a thicket of cross-kind etiquette that nobody ever quite writes down.
The Long Valleys is a series of standalone monster why-choose romances set along those roads. Every book takes one human woman with a trade of her own and three non-human men of three different kinds, each enormous in his own way, each with instincts the other two do not share, and each convinced that his own carefulness is the only thing that makes him fit to be near her. She is soft, full-figured and wanted out loud, by all three, exactly as she is.
She is never the prize, and she is never in danger from them. The trouble is what it costs three incompatible creatures to stand in one room, and what she has to say before they stop being careful of her and start being careful with her. Expect open-door heat, long and physically choreographed, with the size difference felt in every scene. The men are devoted to her and cordial to each other, and they are not involved with each other. No captive brides, no dubious consent, no fated-mates bond deciding anything. Every book ends happily.
Each book is a complete interconnected standalone with a different heroine and her three, a guaranteed HEA. Start anywhere in the valleys.
