The Witches of Ephraim Harbor
A woman of fifty knows more than any detective, and she's better at hiding it.
Ephraim Harbor is a village of nine hundred on the Green Bay shore of Wisconsin's Door County: cherry orchards on the ridge, a white brick lighthouse on the point, a supper club on the bluff road with brandy old fashioneds and the Friday fish fry, and summer people who triple the population and go home in October. It is the kind of place where nobody says what they mean and everybody knows anyway.
The Witches of Ephraim Harbor is a series of standalone cozy paranormal mysteries. In every book a woman in the second half of her life comes into a gift she never asked for, finds a body nobody else thinks is a murder, and meets a man who notices her. Each book takes one season of the harbour's year, from ice-out to cherry harvest to the first snow, and solves its mystery and settles its romance by the last page.
Clean and cozy: the murder happens off the page, the door stays closed, the language stays mild, and no animal is ever harmed, talking cats included. Most readers begin with Cherry Picked.
Each book is a complete interconnected standalone with a different heroine and a different mystery, a guaranteed HEA. Read in any order.
