Exhibitionist Romance · Hotel Solenne
Seen in Red
She has spent her career dressing other women for the light. Tonight she is the one standing in it.
Costume designer Tilly Etcheverry works with pins in her mouth, invisible by habit. Then the headliner of The Garter Hour turns her ankle, and Tilly is the only one who knows the number staged behind the glass of Suite Four at Hotel Solenne, where the glass suites face a members' gallery.
She reads the gallery book. She knows every name before she clears the glass. One of them, film composer Noah Pomeroy, asked whether she would mind before he signed. Afterwards he asks to be the only name in the book. Then he asks to stop watching from the bench.
But when the revue no longer needs her, Tilly is sure he wanted the woman in the red robe, never the one with pins in her mouth. And Noah, afraid she will choose the light over him, lets her frost the glass.
On closing night there is only one way to show him who she is: in front of everyone.
An explicit standalone with a willing audience and a happily ever after. Perfect for fans of Fiona Cole and Christina Lauren.
